Suzanne MacLennan is a senior visual effects producer whose recent productions include the television series Arrow, The 100 and Once Upon A Time. Suzanne says she enjoys the entire production process from initial concept script through screening final shots, “except waiting for CG renders, which is never awesome.”

Adam Brooks began his career as a figurative oil painter, exhibiting at The Winnipeg Art Gallery before founding the filmmaking collective Astron-6 in 2007 with four other filmmakers, Jeremy Gillespie, Matthew Kennedy, Conor Sweeney and Steven Kostanski. Astron-6 produced a collection of short films before breaking into feature films with the sci-fi/horror-comedy Manborg in 2011, followed by the grindhouse/revenge satire Father’s Day. His most recent film The Editor, an absurdist take on the giallo genre, premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival before touring the world and winning a handful of awards along the way.

Karen Walton is a critically acclaimed screen and television writer-producer, whose genre work includes the cult classic horror, Ginger Snaps and writing for the first two seasons of the hit sci-fi series, Orphan Black. A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, her trophy collection includes a Canadian Comedy Award for Pretty Funny Screenplay, Canadian Screen Awards for Best Dramatic Series and Best Writing in a Television Movie or Miniseries. She was recently named the 2016 Margaret Collier Award winner for her outstanding body of work as a writer by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.

Marina’s most recent Executive Producer credits include Jason Priestley’s feature directorial debut: Cas and Dylan (starring Richard Dreyfuss and Tatiana Maslany) the critically acclaimed genre films Antisocial and Antisocial 2. She is currently developing the sci-fi film South of Hope Street (directed by Jane Spencer, with whom she previously worked on The Ninth Cloud) and in post-production of the dark thriller The Bequest (directed by Jeff Kopas) and the comedy First Round Down (directed by Brett M.
